    Description

    Frankoma Pottery Plainsman Brown Teapot  - Classic Tea Pot Design!   USPS Parcel Select Ground. This Teapot is used but in excellent condition - no chips, cracks, fading or crazing.  What you cannot see in the photo is the fabulous rustic-like glaze that makes Frankoma pieces stand out.  Frankoma was founded by John Frank.  He lived in Oklahoma - a ceramics professor at the Universitiy of Oklahoma.  His initial products were made from ada clay and were replaced with brick clay in 1943.  The Company is named after his first name (Frank) with (oma) added representing his home state of Oklahoma.  The teapot holds 4 cups of water.  From spout to handle the width is 10"  6 1/2" height
