250cc Harescrambler 250. According to records was built in Jan. 1979. Very rare bike. This bike will need a complete restoration. Has no pipe. I believe the handle bars are original and are very nice. Seat has original fiberglass pan & correct mounts. Fiberglass airbox is original. 6-speed trans and clutch work as designed. Original Ohlins remote reservoir shocks. Original 38mm Marzocchi forks. Decent small MX plastic orig. tank has all petcocks, cap. Original Metzler knobbies. Aluminum swingarm. All brake bits including chain guards, etc. all included.
You gotta' love KTM. Chromoly steel frames, magnesium hubs, magnesium engine cases, quality shocks, Ceriani  or Marzocchi forks & triple clamps; fiberglass fuel tanks, Metzler tires, etc. etc. All the top end components which made these bikes very competitive right out of the crate.
KTM engines were considered some of the fastest air cooled 2-stroke engines ever built for their classes.
