Every now and then a bike like this comes along. A ONE owner, totally stock, all original and unrestored dirt bike (with title).  A true barn find out of Missouri, hardly ridden and then dry stored for over 4 decades. Owner purchased bike in May of 1974, competed on it in a couple of local Enduros back in the day, and then retired it into dry storage. Here it is exactly as it was put away all those years ago.

I bought this bike from it's original owner who purchased it back in May of 1974. He said it was running perfectly when put away. He has had it stored all this time.
Comes with all original KTM tools in leather pouch.
You are looking at a 100% all original barn find. I cannot see even one item that has been replaced. Odometer showing only 517 miles and these appear to be original. Original Magura grips-cables-controls, orig. Metzler tires, orig. leather tool bag tank strap, orig. KTM handle bars (straight), orig. GS fiberglass fuel tank, orig. paint, orig. Akront rims, orig. Bing carb with handle bar mounted choke control, orig. big GS exhaust pipe (nice), all orig. rear chain guides and guards, orig. frame rock guards, orig. Ceriani forks & Girling rear shocks, etc. etc. Like I said before, I can't find even one replacement item.
Even has original (and extremely brittle) ABS plastic front & rear fenders/guards in excellent shape -- no cracks. Front number plate is beginning to deteriorate but still looks good. All Magura electrical switches and controls, front & rear running lights, etc. etc. etc. You get the picture. Still has storage dust on it -- this bike has not even been cleaned.
Motor is free, turns smoothly, and produces good spark. Ready to put into museum collection after a good cleaning & race prep (oils, fluids, fuels, filters, etc.), or restore it (but I wouldn't as it's only original once).
You gotta' love KTM. Chromoly steel frames, magnesium hubs, magnesium engine cases, quality shocks, Ceriani  or Marzocchi forks & triple clamps; fiberglass fuel tanks, Metzler tires, etc. etc. All the top end components which made these bikes very competitive right out of the crate.
KTM engines were considered some of the fastest air cooled 2-stroke engines ever built for their classes.
